cy is my son's middle name,
for the artist cy twombly.
today, unbelievably, was his third birthday.
we shared lime cupcakes, playdough santas and santa bags filled with toys (an ongoing and much beloved theme), and gifts of books (which i will share soon)
(in case you are unfamiliar with the work of either cy, i will clarify that the paintings above are cy the twombly, and the playdough is cy of mine.)
