The holidays are fast approaching and we are looking forward to two of our favourite seasonal markets for makers and craftspeople. This year as luck would have it, both fall on the second weekend of December! 

Shiny Fuzzy Muddy has been a veritable institution in Vancouver since 2003 and this December will the last and final show for the collective. Saturday and Sunday December 14th and 15th from 11am to 6 pm at the Heritage Hall on Main Street, SFM is a great opportunity to meet the makers! This year will be an especially poignant celebration of the amazing community these ladies have created over the last sixteen (!) years. 

Near Commercial and Hastings, the Franklin Studios are a collection of artists and makers in a refurbished warehouse building. This sale is a great opportunity to wander through artist's studios, drink a mulled wine, snap up a wreath of foraged greens, grab some natural deodorant, go crazy for the extraordinary hand made coffee mugs (get one for your mom), and stock up on the last of your Christmas cards from yours truly! Saturday December 14th, noon to 6pm.
