For birthdays when i was small, my dad would borrow NFB films from the library and project them onto a sheet hung in the basement, or between two trees in the backyard. I think of them often, especially the Evelyn Lambart classics Mr. Frog Went A-Courting (1974) and The Lion and the Mouse (1976), both made from animated paper cutouts.
